Has anyone attempted to clean the intake valves on 1.6 tdi?

Do you mean the INLET valves (Cylinder head)

More detail needed perhaps

the inlet valves visible when you remove the inlet manifold.

 

I know how my throttle body looked at 60k miles and i can't imagine how the valves will look at 70k.
