Cool fan engage when car starts in the morning

Hi everyone. 

I just registered today on this site and i have found a lot of useful info.

I just bought a 07 skoda octavia vrs estate and the air con was working perfect . After 1 week it just stopped working . I had booked a Major service at skoda and when they checked the AC foind out to be a leak coming from compressor area . They said it might have stopped working because of that and i need a new compressor. I went to halfords where they do free AC check and they topped up a bit with gas . They said it doesnt seem to have any leak but AC clutch os not kicking in . When i woke up next day morning amd switched on my car the cooler fan engaged as well . It sounds like AC is on but it isn't. I was driving to ŠKODA ( Leisters ) the temp pf the car rised to 90 and the fan stopped and the noise back to normal. I left the car to cool down and when i strated the engine the fan engaged again .

Anyone has had the same issues  ?
