Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can get my Octavia remapped for a reasonable price. Been quoted £300, but the car is only worth £600. I'm in Bristol but don't mind to travel if not to far.

Any recommendations?

A decent map is going to cost that or more. Cheap maps can cause damage. It’s not worth going cheap in my opinion. I’ve been quoted over £500 but that’s a custom map on a rolling road.

Rtech in Hinckley did a MkIV forum members offer years ago of £150.

I've never had a better map. 

My current VRS has an ECU with an Rtech stage 2 map on it

 

Thing is mapping doesnt actually cost anything other than time so I found a cash deal can be done at most places

 

Fast Road Conversions in Ashford, Kent do it for £150 and I've had 3 cars from them mapped before with no issues
