Good morning all, I've been reading on here for a few weeks but need some advice. I have a 2007 4x4 and I understand the Haldex requires frequent oil changes, but I'm struggling to find a diagram with the drain/fill bolt locations, I don't want to fill the diff with Haldex oil! Would I be correct in thinking that a Gen2 Haldex is fitted to a 2007 car? I understand that the FL cars had a Gen4, what year was the FL?

 

Any help appreciated.

2007 is Gen2. Filling is the same on both, just the filter on the other side thats different.

Thanks, yes it clearly shows the correct bolts to fill/drain. Just need to find more information about filter replacement as my local dealer doesn't think there is one.

Thanks for this, picked up the oil from my local dealer today, I asked about the filter and was told there isn't one! Does it require any special tools? And a part number for the filter would be great if anyone has it.

But there is a filter, apparently. On the other side of the case. Opposite the Haldex fill plug, and a 24mm socket gets it off. Try part no 02D598574.

Thanks again, so much confusion over a routine task! I'll look into that part number for the filter, is the 75w90 mentioned correct for the diff?
