Car won’t start!

Featured Replies

Hi. The other day I was driving my Octavia then all of a sudden it gave a slight judder in 3 rd gear then around 10 mins Lata I pulled up at traffic lights and the car died and wouldn’t re start no warning lights on the dash nothing, called out the rescue guys and he told me it’s my fuel pump  . Yesterday a mate tested the fuses relays etc there all fine and there is also power going to the fuel pump, so I don’t know what it could be?, I have also been reading that it could be poss camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor or poss ecu. Any help would be much appreciated. ( my car is a vrs 60 plate tdi)

Its all well and good having a power supply to the fuel pump, but it doesn't mean its working. Seen as the recovery man mentioned the fuel pump I would rule that out first.

Try and find somebody with a code reader to scan the car, that may help a lot

I have a mechanic coming out Wednesday so hopefully he will get to the bottom of it. You just read so many things it could be!
