Rear Seat Release Lever Failure

Featured Replies

Rather than just playing with the great feature, the one time I genuinely needed to use the RHS lever to drop the seat back it didn't work!

It's just slack. Does anyone have experience of sorting it with some pointers before I dive in?

(The car is in warranty but the last time it went in at a week old, it came back with a stone chip and a chunk out of the tyre)

Mine did this the other week. My mate helped sort it.

Assuming you can still release the seat, do that then look down the side of the moved bit near the hinge. Should be a little 'window' where the cable end and outer sits. Research those and all should be good.

Great. I'll have a try at the weekend - thanks.
