I have to confess to having been a lurker for some time, so I thought it about time to say hello properly and make myself known!   I have found the site really helpful when doing research for a new purchase, so a belated thanks also to all for the depth of info available.

 

My original intention was to go for an Octavia VRS Estate, however after much deliberation and a test drive of a VRS 245 and a Superb Sportline 220, I ended up going for the Superb 280 Estate, albeit this will now be the 272 'upgrade' :notme: due to the timing of order.  I will chip into some of the relevant threads with more details.
