Fault code 01321

Featured Replies

Hi

This is my first post, I have the fault code according to Carista ABS 01321 control module for air bags (j234)  I have searched on here and that fault code is associated with the air bag warning light also being on but my warning light does not come on, and yes it does work, if I reset the code it could be up to two or three weeks before it happens again, anyone with any ideas please the car is a Octy mk2 2010 1600 diesel  33000 miles Thank you. And this is a really great forum had many tips from here.

Hi

Thank you for the reply and the link, I have already seen that link but in that scenario they say that Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON, in my case the MIL light is not on,

there is no indication at all the only way I knew of the fault is when I did a scan with Carista. The other thing I don't understand is why Carista say's it's an ABS fault.

Thank you.

Sent in error.

Have you checked your ABS functionality?

Is it working OK then?

What if you brake powerfully and applying ABS-what's it doing?

Think if you could find anyone with VCDS diagnostics it would maybe indicate more details for the issue.

Thank you for that I will try the brakes to see if there ok they are normally, the other thing is I will wait for the fault again there is a garage near me that specialise in ww, audi and skoda  I will go there and ask them to see what they come up with, to be honest as there is no warning light on I wonder if it is that serious as everything seems to be working ok. if no one else reply's to the topic I will let you know if I find anything.

yes that sounds a good qay t proceed then.

Let us know with results upon available.

Good luck!
