Floor mats

Featured Replies

After just 8months my drivers floormat is threadbare. Skoda say it's wear and tear AND I have to buy all 4 mats in a set. Anyone have a drivers mode mat to sell please?

Where are you? as they are big and heavy, therefore cost a chunk to post....

Notts

You can definitely buy them singly, certainly for the vRS:

You can indeed buy them individually. I did and it was £22 for the drivers carpet mat from TPS.

The textile mats are rubbish/cheap looking, I now have a full set of rubber mats and they are much better.  I just Luv Rubber

Agree. Although my drivers side rubber mat (Genuine Skoda too) has a hole worn in it after only about 20k miles of use...

I have damaged one of the mounts on my drivers rubber mat in under 10k miles. I think that’s constant rubbing from heeled boot that’s done it but it never happened on my old Volvo with the beautifully rugged and actually very stylish all weather floor mats...

Likewise, gone through my carpet mat on the drivers side but the car has now cover over 68k miles!

So can you buy just the driver's mat from the rubber set? Like others I've got a hole in the driver's, but the other three mats are like new......

Had the same issue on my MK2 and ended up buying a whole set as I recall.

Just tried to order 5E2 862 436 (driver's side rubber mat) from Hortons but they say it's not recognised. Funnily enough Googling the part number brings up a 2018 post on here where I posted the number, buts my mats were new then.

I get the part number 5E2 864 436 E then a three lettter code for the colour code such as black/black, black/silver and black/red

That's the standard VRS mat surely?

It seems you can buy those individually, whereas the rubber mats can only be bought as a set, being an "accessory" rather than standard equipment.

Very happy if anyone has managed to buy 5E2 862 436 singly however....?

So just as a postscript I have ordered 4 new Skoda rubber mats whilst only needing the driver's one.  I do wonder why Skoda-Parts.com (CZ) can sell these for €30.48 when the UK price seems to be around £60.

I did see a nearly new Skoda rubber driver's mat only on ebay in Lithuania but the seller wanted €35!

Alternatively you can buy an aftermarket driver's only rubber mat for about £13 but these do not have the molded lip round the edge which helps to stop melted snow or spillages from ending up on your carpets, and of course it won't match your other mats.

I'm also after a drivers only carpet mat for mk3 VRS, are these available, or will I need the whole set?

In fact, I can't find VRS mats anywhere, just the ones with 'Octavia' text on them.

Although not available individually I’ve seen these OEM mats on SuperSkoda for the vRS and am curious as to how many versions are available for the Mk3 Octavia;

http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-III/Octavia-III-original-Skoda-floor-mats-Red-RS-version-RHD

I have part number 5E2 863 011 M XMV fitted to my drivers side. All mats are plain black with black edging and stitching. No logos or Octavia text.

As per the OP the current mats I have don’t appear to be as hard wearing or as premium as I’d expect for a vRS.

I recall that my Fiesta ST came with very good, hard wearing OEM mats. They felt premium and were very thick with nice edging.
