Terraclean/Hydraclean

Featured Replies

Hi all

I know that this has probably been asked hundreds of time so I'll apologise now. (Please don't throw much at me I am new!:notme:)

What are your thoughts on Terraclean/Hydraclean?  I have seen quite a few adverts for both Terraclean and Hydraclean and they both claim to be able to produce very good results.  I don't pick my car up until tomorrow (Sunday 28th July) and I am just curious as I've never had a diesel before.

Thanks in advance:thumbup:

Enjoy the car, drive it and see how it goes, have it serviced if need be and just buy diesel where ever sells diesel.

Save your money, or do not waste it on a Terraclean or Hydraclean and if your car has had the Emissions Fix be sure to know when and how long is left on the 24 Months VW Group Trust Building Measure Guarantee.

Best not void that by messing about with Engine Cleaning.

Thanks for the advice

And beef it up ;) either by remap or chip.

Only if your car has been totally neglected, had not air, oil or fuel filters changed since it was first delivered as new. Then it may have some useful benefit.:D

I've yet to find an independent engineering assessment of this system or even a good working description of the materials it uses to clean the engine internals. Probably too good to be true as most things like this tend to be.

Not having any of that cheap snake oil stuff, the expensive snake oil gives much better results!
