VCDS Results advise

Featured Replies

Hi All

Managed to borrow vids to do a scan on the Yeti. Intermittently when started from cold the glow plug light will come on flashing and goes in to limp mode. Once the car is up to temp  and I switch off the ignition for 10 -15 mins and start up again it's all ok. I did a scan of the error with vcds and got the report below. No expert so asking advise here,  Does this mean the EGR is knackered?

Pretty much yes.

Have you had the emissions recall done by any chance? if so take it back and they will replace it.

No I kept away but under these circumstances I wish I had done it so it would be covered.

Is this a job I can do on my drive? it's only the 2wd model. Trying to find some replacement instructions to get an idea

Thanks

Glenn

Yes it’s a fairly easy if messy DIY job.
