Jasmine is all grown-up now...

Featured Replies

..in that her warranty ended on the 22nd of February...she is (under my care) 3 years old with 95,000 kilometers on the clock.

Funny enough, since my last service at 90,000 kms, I have not had one problem to complain about or take care of since, spend or no spend. Only thing is when I took it out of the showroom then, the little piece of the body kit that sits on the arches flew off, so she had a 'scar' for a while...this was of course taken care of a few days later at a body shop close to the dealer's, with a fibreglass moulding done to the bumper...done so well it looks like the original, only better part about it being it will never fly off again!

She's still pretty, all black and looks all new...I guess when you take good care of your things they will always look new...still drives well, handles well...races well....go on, I'm waiting for someone to throw some sh|t at me :)

I'm going to get her intestinal parts from the gullet all the way to the rectum done soon so that the noise she lets out is more intimidating, plus I can benefit from the extra power and free flow of air that comes out...pure sound of performance I tell you :)

Long live Jasmine.

Your car is always nice man..

but this is one good advice for ya.. since ur warranty is over now.. i dont really suggest u taking your car to Autostar again.. there're much better places around.. and if u ask me.. my car will never ever go there again no matter wut happens.. after my experince with these ppl last 2 weeks.. im really really disappointed.. and yet today o was more and more surprised when i took my car to check something with it..

wanna know the story?

k lets see.. this is gonna take a long time..srry to make u read all this :P

since i got the car.. there was a clicking noise coming from the front at low speeds, they said they'll fix this for free for me.. the delivery of the parts that they claimed they changed for me was around 2 weeks ago (4 monthes wait).. when i sent them the car.. it was perfectly fine except for this clicking noise..

it took them 8 days to finish my car.. anyways.. the important part is that they said that they changed some parts in the gearbox like shaft etc and they changed CV joints n some shiit and now the noise is gone.. i took the car n guess wut??

it was still making the same noise.. and even worse, the steering balance was screwed up big time.. if u leave the steering the car goes left very badly.... and it handeled like shiit.. i called them n they said no the car is fine n for the steering u can bring it here for a full day n we'll finish it for ya.. im like no thank u.. i took it today to a good place here around n they were askin me if i hit some sidewalk or some concrete with the wheels coz they found out that some parts under are damaged very badly thats why the car is going left.. thats gonna cost around 500... i dont care for what it costs.. but its really shame that u take the car to its dealership n they dont know how to fix it for ya and yet they give it bak in a much much worse condition.. i guess thats it.. Never takin it there.. but yet im not gonna let this go this easy...

You've decided to keep Jasmine then?

No point throwing **** - you'd only rush out and polish it off to bring back that shine and sparkle that you've come to know and love

At this point, I'm just wondering what we each had for lunch :rubchin:

OTOH Are you talking about that sort of loving care that only cars out of warranty receive from their owners? Probably a group hug is called for in that case :grouphug:

;)

Mo

Glad to hear the old girl is doing well

My mongrel is nearly 5 now - 2 years in my care, and she's looking OK for it. When I get more settled in re-employment I think she'll be going in to a local bodyshop for some TLC on various chips/scratches/marks that come from 70,000 miles+ :)

Go Jasmine, go!
