Celtic Tuning advisor me must have....

Featured Replies

Just had remap from them, drove down to Cornwall at the headquarters tuning to 183bhp and 286lb/ft, I am happy with this power but the turbo lag seem bit worst at between 1,200 and 1,400rpm than before remap, a guy talking to me to said if I want add a Hybrid turbo to reduce the lag low down the rev and improve more mpg, but he sound like he want more out of my money, let me ask you are the hybrid really worth to add, do this make any improvement? how many would I gain further with hybrid, I am personally drive normal everyday with lots of miles, good mpg no thrash unless is need to overtaking or tow. What you suggest?

Was your car on the dyno to show you that 183bhp / 286lb/ft?

Why not just get a refund under the guarantee and then go someplace with your hard earned that can write software for your re-map and not use a generic map.

Shark Performance or similar.

?

What engine do you have by the way?

I have the 1.9tdi 130 VRS 2005, the power result was not on dyno, it was advert power on their website, are you tell me that Celtic tuning are rubbish? I have 30 days money back if I am not happy, I have notice when the turbo it becomes lag make me push accelerate bit more then I lose more mpg! also change gear down making more worst effect my mpg on my trip computer after 4 days seem disappointed with it.

Fabia Mk1 section members might be able to help.

Yes Celtic Tuning re-maps can be crap IMO / IME of others cars that have been done.
