New Scout Query

Featured Replies

Just traded my 2011 petrol vrs for a brand new Scout (getting old!).  I note that the spec says the car comes with rear mud flaps.  But it doesn't - and looking at photos online I can't see any evidence of rear flaps being fitted.  Silly question maybe, but does anyone know what exactly it is Skoda are referring to in their spec, or has anyone seen mud flaps on a Scout?

I didn't think that they did mudflaps for a Scout --- I know some people have fitted them but they aren't technically designed to fit (unless spec has changed).  Where abouts did you read they were available?  Just looked on line at the Skoda site and cant see anything mentioned.

The normal mud flaps can be adapted to fit, but the additional body mouldings prevent an absolutely perfect fit. You couldn't tell from a distance though.

Found the reference to rear mud flaps in the spec list that comes up at the end of the configurator.  Also in the Prices & Specs brochure it implies they're there as in differences from SE the VRS is listed as not having them but the Scout isn't.  Not a problem though, as I realise the Octavia mud flaps aren't exactly robust or large!  Two days in and only driven about 30 miles so far, but so far is so good.  Only gripe is the steering wheel being about 5 degrees to the nearside when going straight ahead - no pull so suspect just a case of the steering wheel being incorrectly mounted?
