Alloy Kodiaq Sportline - Triglav vs Extreme)

Featured Replies

Hello,

Please one answer for alloy dimension  for Kodiaq.
I have Kodiaq SPORTLINE with original Triglav antrachite alloy  7J x 19” ET 43  with tyre 235/ 50 R19.

Will be tyre 235/ 50 R19 correct for new alloy Škoda Extreme 7,5 x 19" ET 51.

ET is bigger for 8 mm (Triglav ET 43, Extreme ET 51).

Here in the UK the SportLine gets the 20" Vega alloy. The 19" Extreme you are looking at is fitted to the Octavia vRS here.

Have you considered the 19" Crater? It looks similar to the Extreme but is designed specifically for the Kodiaq, it is standard on the Scout.

It’ll fit.  But so will other sizes.

7” is 178mm

7.5” is 191mm

235mm is hanging off the sides with either.

It’s a game.

Hi All,

Quick question, my Kodiaq will come with 18" Summer wheels, of course by the time the car gets delivered i will need Winter wheels (lots of snow in Switzerland).

Skoda are recommending 17" wheels/Alloys for Winter.

Can anyone explain why they recommend 17" instead of 18"? i assume its down to handling in the snow? But i have not got around to asking the dealer why they state 17".

Any Idea?

Thanks

K

The recommendation of 17” wheels is to allow clearance for chains to be fitted. If you don’t require to fit chains 18” would be fine.
