I am having problem with my skoda 1.2 tsi CBZB). I am getting error codes P155A 00 [237] - Lower limit not Reached. The card feels with no power (flat like a pancake). I took it to the garage and they claimed that the whole turbo needs to be replaced although the problem is just the wastegate. I have a diagnostic tool. Is it anyway to confirm what the problem is? The actuator seems simple to replace, but I believe it needs re-calibration.

 

Any suggestions on what to do next? Apart from taking the car to the garage to replace the turbo for £1100.

Replaced the actuator on mine. Set the nuts on the threaded bar to exactly the same position on the new actuator and it should be within range.
