New to forum.

Just installing dashcam. Removed the airbag fuse to make it easier to remove other fuses, and replaced the airbag fuse.

now there is an airbag error on the dash. Any way to remove this?

any help greatly appreciated.

to clarify the airbag fuse is back in position and the dashcam isn’t taken off the airbag fuse.

 

halfords messed my mk3 with dash errors installing dashcam camera, i used carista and android to clear the faults (its an OBD2 adapter) other than that it would be trip to the dealers to clear

was regretting not getting Halfords to fit as only £10 more.

But now you’ve said that I’m a bit happier. Is using the app easy to use? Would it void the warranty?

Did the same as you pulled the wrong fuse!!

Carista is easy to use will need an internet connection via phone or wifi. If I remember you can buy a weeks usage for about a tenner. Have a look at other things you can turn off I got rid of the Stop Start on both of our Fabia's, just PXed the wife’s no problem with the dealer with regard to warranty they said they will reset everything back to standard.  When we have the cars serviced at the main dealer I had to tell them not to turn back on the Stop Start.

I managed to clear the fault code myself using an ODB2 reader and some free software for my smartphone.
