Silly question - what size wiper blades does the Karoq need?

Any thoughts on the best brand?

Bosch.

The same size as the ones you take off.

Non of the online wiper blade retailers list either the Karoq or Kodiaq...

The Kodiaq has been out for almost two years now. Rubbish.

As above, get your tape measure out!

Thanks Teds. Not with my car and the usual sites don't list the sizes.

these wipers look remarkable similiar to the yeti size blades - same ones maybe?

The OEM wipers are typically made by Valeo - copy of the Bosch AeroTwin blades. The Bosch blades are better.

Do they fit without adapters?

Some websites still do not show wipers for the Karoq. I think that you will find that the wipers for the Seat Ateca are the same size with the same fitting requirements. Wiper blades.co.uk sell Bosch Aerotwin blades, 650mm and 450mm with the button fitting for about £21 pounds for the pair.

I had a set I never fitted to my Yeti before I traded it in and was hoping to off load them to my son for his Karoq, but the Yeti wipers are 600 and 465mm so looks like they are different sizes.

Talking of wipers, I've noticed on mine when they're on normal speed (ie one up from intermittent) the speed isn't consistent. There will be a few bursts of a slightly faster speed then back to normal then faster again (not super fast like the high setting). Thought it might be a sensor detecting more water on windscreen but it's been happening when at any time.

Are you sure you aren't in the auto setting?

Even when on constant the wipers will slow down or stop when the car comes to a halt.

I haven't changed the setting from when I picked it up. Yes they do that as standard, just the slight variation in speed when car is moving I find odd. Not a big deal though.

Does seem strange. I'd expect variation in the auto setting, as that's the point.

But the next notch up (permanently on) shouldn't see any change in speed.

Well I wouldn't buy Skoda as mine are shot and my car has only done 4600 miles and probably only 600 in the rain. Skoda quoted £42-80p for replacements when I can buy Bosch Aero for £23. I have never in all my years of driving had a set of wipers wear out in such a short time. Shame on you Skoda!!!
