Drive Mode on SE Technology

Featured Replies

I recently took delivery of a Karoq 1.6TDI SE Technology.

However, I think I've discovered a weird interface problem.  Using the Infotainment Car setting, I can change the driving mode (Eco, Normal, etc), but there's no button on the centre console beside the gear lever.

Is that normal, or maybe it's a design fault?

Are you sure your changing the drive mode? or are you changing the setting for the ACC ?

Ok, perhaps I am.  It's kinda silly having Drive Mode for ACC, but the car doesn't have it in normal driving!

In the Finnish manual in description about Mode button.

It should be the same in the English manual, which is common for all the trims.

We have the drive mode button on our Karoq that @Grumpy Finn has posted above

Drive mode is an option of the SE and SE Tech, had it on my Octavia and I really only changed the steering to sport mode to give it a bit more feel, other than that I never bothered changing anything else.

We have it in the recent Octavia and it will be in the coming Karoq, too.

Use the Individual setting the Steering Sport selected, the normal is to loose. In long journeys I use the Eco Mode saving the petrol.

I believe the setting within ACC only adjusts the harshness of the acceleration
