Vibration between 60 and 65mph..

Featured Replies

Hi folks.  In the last month or so I've been noticing a slight vibration on my Yeti.  It is only apparent when travelling between 60 and 65mph.  It doesn't seem to matter what gear I'm in, or whether I dip the clutch or not.

I'm thinking it could be a balance weight come loose from a wheel.  Is there anything else it could possibly be?

I've not changed anything on the car since November last year.

Cheers

Andy

Spelling, Timothy!

Hopefully between November and September you have been checking and maybe adjusting tyre pressures and inspecting the tyres, inside and outside wall.

Resetting the TPMS as well, or testing it.

Best have the Wheels / tyres balanced after a good inspection / service.  Steering, Brakes, Suspension, Tyres.

Just had one of wheels balanced to fix this, it'd had a new tyre on it, & an apparent static balancing. I get yours checked before worrying about deeper issues. It end up like check your (illness) symptoms on the internet & coming away thinking you've cancer :(
