Winter wheels - Skoda or Alcar steels?

Featured Replies

Looking to buy some winter wheels + tyres.

I've seen a really good deal on a set of Nokian tyres + Alcar steel wheels for a tad over £460 which I think is a bargain.

Working it out, the same tyres on genuine Skoda steels are quite a bit more expensive - over £600.

Anyone know - is it worth shelling out for the proper Skoda wheels?

I have a brand new set of wheels and Nokian Tyres for Sale with a tyre tree and cover bought for my Jetta but never used,

Buy some cheap but decent alloy wheels and get either Nokian WR D4s or Continental WinterContact TS 860, personally I think the latter is the slightly better option, but they're more expensive.
