2015 Skoda Superb DRLs

My brother bought a 15 Skoda Superb 2l 140bhp (Mk II) SE Business. Are DRLs an extra from the standard SE Business spec? I don't see them on Parkers. 

They are not on when the car is running and they are on in the MDF settings.

A photo of the headlamp would be of some help ... you can disable the LED DRLs, and use the fog lamps or the main low beam as the DRL (easily configurable with the right piece of equipment) ... or, it is not impossible that both DRL LEDs actually failed or are somehow physically disconnected from the 12V input within the headlamp.

 

The working LEDs should look something like this:

The picture above is of the xenon headlight with LED DRL's and indicators.

 

The SE Technology gets regular halogen headlights, the DRL function utilise the main beam bulb...

 

 

 

DRL's are standard on all 2015 model Superb's pre or post facelift.

So the DRL outward "design" is the same, but the halogen headlamps don't have the LEDs on the side ... nice going Skoda ... ... I guess the front headlamp washer cover is just a cover, no washer jets fitted, right?
