Hello again. 

 

My drivers door is making me crazy. It rattles all the time.  I've had the dealer look at it (was looking at another minor issue at the time) and they apparently took it apart and put it back together a wire/screw (cannot remember which) that had not been put in properly .  it was OK for a week or so - but now it is back and much worse. 

 

Anyone else have this issue, or managed to get it resolved by a dealer?

Seems Skoda have cut costs on the door handles and door cards. Definitely a step backwards compared to my previous Skoda's.

 

Squeaking handles are a common complaint when they're pulled or pushed (i.e. opening and closing the door), but no 'rattles' for me... yet!

 

 

I was in the dealers in August and I played around in a bunch of the showroom cars. I think every new Skoda in there had creaky door handles with one exception - a new Fabia.  Octavias, a Rapid, a Superb, a Karoq and a Kodiak all squeaked - the Octavia VRS and the Kodiak weer the loudest. And the most expensive
