Hi there,

 

For sale here we have my Fabia VRS SE. This was previously owned by hutchysrs50 on here and bought by myself at the end of July 2016.

 

It now has 114,492 miles on the clock with me putting just under 10,000 in my ownership of the past 2 and a bit years. Car has been very reliable in my ownership with nothing serious to note.

 

It has a full Skoda history from new until 2012. It is then picked back up in 2015 with regular servicing and other work being done by hutchysrs50 (previous owner). In my ownership I have had it serviced by a Local garage in November 2017 and it is MOT'd until August 2019. I'm pretty sure it had 4 new tyres too but I can't find the invoice for it at the moment!

 

As some of you may know this is a fairly high specced SE with most upgrades being carried out the previous owner. The list of upgrades/extras are as follows;

- Gun metal grey wheels

- Upgraded factory radio/satnav

- Interior leds

- Cruise control

- Front splitter (unfortunately broken and held together with tape)

- Milltek exhaust

- Team heko wind deflectors

- 6cd multichanger

- Retro fitted heated seats

- Boot net

- Genuine hella Xenon headlights

- Arm rest and

- Mud flaps.

 

Other big things to note that have been done include:

- New turbo 2014

- Timing belt/waterpump Dec 2015

- New clutch, flywheel and slave cyclinder May 2016 and

- Camshaft Aug 2016.

 

The car itself seems to be running well (I'm not that mechanically minded) with no major problems.  A few things that I have noticed and just want to be upfront about. There is a slight squeak when driving at 20-30 at a certain angle, radio signal isn't amazing, aux input to the radio is a bit crackly, splitter is broken, slight scuffs to a few of the alloys and the air con isn't blowing cold. Oh, and it isn't as clean as in the photos! Apart from this, the car has been great and i've really enjoyed driving it.

 

I'm selling because unfortunately it doesn't get the use that I would hope for it, me and my wife are dropping to one car and we are also expecting a little one so we've got something more suitable! 

 

Price wise i'm looking for £3500 £2900 ono. No test drives unless proof of insurance is shown but I'm happy to take people out for a drive. Any questions please comment or drop me a message and I will respond as quickly as possible!

Checked a few valuation sites but they are very low. Ive looked at previous sales on here (one went recently) and i thought the price was okay considering all the upgrades too!

Maybe I have over priced a little bit.

What's the current mileage and when is the timing belt /water pump due a change? 

Can double check the exact mileage tomorrow but I’m pretty sure it’s 115,500 ish. The timing belt was last changed in Dec 2015 at between 102,000 and 105,000 miles. I’m not exactly sure when it needs doing again though, hardly done any miles since then!

Yes, that mileage is correct although it will go up a little bit.

Got someone coming to have a look at the car tomorrow so it may finally be sold. I’ll update the thread if anything happens!
