New Focus 4x4

Featured Replies

Seems ford are going down the route that skoda started and are releasing a focus 4x4 with raised ride height etc. Wonder what it will be like, and if that means they will adapt it to create a new RS with 4x4, ie a proper sports car!!! :)

I hardly think that Skoda would claim to have started 4x4 cars.....

Volvo and Audi also had 4x4 estate on raised suspension years ago.

you know what I mean!! dont you? ... .. oh cr*p I look like a fool.....

Is the 4x4 an estate or hatch? Would imagine if it's a hatch, you might lose a good portion of the boot space, unless they replace the spare tyre with a can of tyre weld like some manufacturers do.... Bet it'll be quite good to drive though - Ford seem to be one of the class leaders in the handling stakes :D

it's more of a 4x4 based on the focus, than a 4x4 focus...if you see what i mean...:o

So if a 4x4 based on a focus is a focus with 4x4, and a 4x4 focus is not a focus 4x4 - then what is the focus 4x4 going to be ? Its all a blur to me, almost like its out of focus.

If you have a nosey around your local Volvo dealer, it may give you an idea of what is to come :)

it's not just a focus with a 4x4 transmission, like the octavia is/was

Ah good old Auto Express ;) So any reliable sources on this
