Change rear door insulation

Featured Replies

Hi,

today I have realised that the rear door insulation is so noisy I can hear a wind in 100 km/h. Is it possible to change and will it solve it? Do you have any experience in this?

thanks in advance

Tamas

Are you sure you hear the  (air)  noise from the back ?

Has the car ever been hit or repaired at that point?

You can inspect the sealing with your eye and compare with other doors .

I had a car in past with similar sound producing and the doors needed re-adjustment after involved in a accident.

There was an accident before I bought it. As I know the front and rear door had to replace.

Can I adjust the door at home or is some special tool necessary?

No I'm afraid it's not something easy you can do at home.

the best is to visit a body repair garage as they will know what should do to sort it.
