Bolero update

Featured Replies

Hi, I have just bought a 2015 Skoda Fabia MK3 but I'm not sure how I would update. It said on the website I need a DVD? Do I need to take it to a dealer for the update?

Device part number: 5Q0035820

Hardware: H11

Software: 0137

Media Codec:

1003.113.1.15 prod

If you can advise I would be grateful.

No Mk.3 Fabia has a disk drive, so you won't get far with a DVD! The dealer should update anything outstanding if you get it serviced there, but TBH I'm not sure if there is anything for the older Bolero units. After all, there's no maps to update!

Software update is handled with an SD card, into the slot on the side of the glovebox.

Ok thanks, I will probably wait till the service. I don't think there would be a huge update anyway like you say as its one of the older units with mirrorlink.
