New VRS - Miles run indicator

Featured Replies

Hi all

I am the proud owner of a new VRS and its superb!

Couple of small niggles however :-

When you switch on the total miles run immidately changes to trip miles.

You can get the figure back by pressing the trip stalk that comes out of the dash but once ignition is switched off and back on the trip is displayed again.

Any way to make the miles run display at switcj on automatically.

Second one is the sealt belt warning tone. VRS mark I would ping 6 times and stop. This one is constant until seat belt is fastened.

I know fasten seat belt but I have short trips on private land most mornings and I dont have to wear one.

As I say these are very minor niggles - the difference between this car and my previous one is Phenomenal!

I luv my new VRS !!

I think it is now a EU legal requirement for the "belt minder" warning to be constant.

It certainly is to get a NCAP 5 star crash test rating.

If you just podding about on private land by yourself pull the passenger belt accross and plug that in to the buckle.

Come again, Lummox? IUTOAS? Your banter mystefies us!

A guess........ "I Used To Own A Skoda".

Its not that difficult to work out if you think about it logically.

Trying to make a statement why a Nissan Primera owner would be on here.
