Yawn...coilpacks

YOUR OLD COILPACKS WILL NOT LAST FOREVER AND WILL

EVENTUALLY ALMOST CERTAINLY FAIL

ON VIRTUALLY ALL VEHICLES

The same can be said for the new ones(!).

What's wrong with your current ones? If your car has the original coil packs you might be able to get them replaced for free by Skoda. I think there's a sticky thread on it. If your car isn't eligible then I'd beware of buying unknown brand parts from eBay.

I've had one fail and I've started to feel a hesitation again. So I've got new plugs and plan on replacing the coil packs too.

Just wondering where best to get them from. Saw the sticky but two of my plugs are now non-original so I guess that even if I was eligible, they'd only replace the other two anyway. For peace of mind I just want to replace the lot.
