Hi, I'm new to the Skoda range of cars allbeit somewhat more by chance than design. I was looking for an estate car of some sort, mainly for carrying the dog and other stuff with no particular brand in mind, the only real criteria was a low load height. I noticed a local garage selling a late 2015 Superb Estate 2.0ltr TSi DSG SE Executive. Too big I thought, it's too black, it'll be a nightmare to clean I thought, I don't want a DSG box I thought...I test drove it, I might have to buy this I thought... I did. Sadly at the moment it's been at the local Skoda dealer after showing a stop/start fault and engine light, turns out it was an auxially water pump failure which blew a fuse and showed up all sorts of faults so took some diagnosis but being rectified. Not the best introduction to Skoda ownership but it's being sorted under warranty so not so bad, one of those things I guess. Apart from that hassle I love the car even if it is still big and black and a nightmare to keep clean..

Hi and welcome to the forums, glad your car is now being fixed and hopefully it's a small blemish in your ownership of it.

A warm welcome to the Forum !  Let's hope there is no more trouble.

Hi folks and thanks for the welcome. Hopefully not, I did some reading before purchase and generally Skoda come out pretty well in terms of owner satisfaction and reliability against other brands which given their status should be better, no names mentioned.

Fortunately there's warranty until December so all being sorted. My local dealer had a bit of diagnostic trouble, the car was showing a stop/start fault plus numerous other faults because the pump was blowing the fuse but they needed to check the other stuff out too. The other problem is that living in Guernsey, Channel Islands, any parts not in stock can take 2 days to get here, sometimes next day if it catches things right but that tends to slow things down. I've had a brand new citigo to whizz around in while mine is sorted, collecting it today so all good.

Welcome along and hope that was all sorted for you.
