Good afternoon alll 

I’m thinking of buying the good wife Fabia (Petrol) as she has 2014 bluemotion diesel polo but the big question I’m asking is!!! Does the Fabia has the same running gear as the polo like clutch and all things like that ? I drive a mk2 superb myself and I really can’t fault it. But we’re having a few problems with the polo as we’ve only just found out it had new clutch plates fitted to the polo before it was even registered :( so by me getting this Fabia does it mean it’s practically the same as the polo ? Ps has it had many recalls ? Are you people really happy abit the Fabia ?

A Mod might move your post tom the Fabia Mk3 section for you.

Yes practically the same as a same aged Polo. Just VW Group mechanicals, sister car with a same age Ibiza or A1.

Some Fabia have had clutch or gearbox issues as happens with many cars / models/ manufacturers, not many have come on this forum with manual box issues though.
