I have trawled through this site and lots of other sites regarding the reseting of the 'Inspection Now'! reset. On my wife's car, when holding down the 00 button and turning the ignition on, the display then asks to confirm - OK or Cancel. You can switch between these options with the reset/OK button on the wiper stalk, but logically you  confirm the OK. If you toggle to cancel then the normal display comes up and the 'Inspection Now' is displayed. If you confirm 'OK'  then display 'Inspection Reset' comes up  and then the display returns to the normal screen demanding 'Inspection Now'. I have methodically gone through the sequences of operating the various buttons and timings but cannot get the Inspection Now to clear. The car is set up for variable servicing. Are there any alternative reset methods other than for all the instructions so far I have seen?

I seem to recall you need the hazard warning lights on while you do an inspection reset (strange but true allegedly). It will reset to fixed interval if you reset it.

Why do they make everything so complicated? I suppose so that you will be compelled to go to a dealer and be charged £100 per hour talk about milking the cow dry. Thanks, I will try that tomorrow.
