Skoda superb 2

Featured Replies

In my skoda superb 2 the right headlight suddenly stopped working some one please give some ideas how do i make it glow

Have you checked the bulb?

Yes that is good

Assuming all other lights are working and it's a halogen bulb, I'd suggest checking with wiring next.

Should be easy enough to check for voltage with a multimeter.

To clear any misunderstandings, how did you check the bulb?

 ... well, you can't get any more scientific than that ... did you try to pull the bulb out, inspect it under light, put it in the other headlamp, to see how it functions? Also, you didn't say whether or not you have halogens or xenons.

I have xenon how to remove the bulb

I'll say this up front, if you don't know what you're doing, I wouldn't be messing with the xenon bulbs in your place (unless you disconnect the car battery) ... read the user manual if you have it, it is best explained there

Travel mode is now not visible in light and vision how do i check it

What did you do to the car in the mean time? I see you've asked the same thing in the other topic, hold your horses ... you don't explain clearly what the situation is and you expect answers ... first check the fuses, and in case all of them are working, you'll need a diagnostics kit to communicate with the car and see what is going on

Ok i will tell you yesterday i changed my fog lamps and then washed the car a bit and night i took it out to see how the light emits its power at that time my right side headlight stopped working and i received the error message in the cluster that afs stopped working and no bend light working today i checked the both light they are working well i don't know the fuse so i don't have any idea about the fuse i think that any water could be went in but at the same time the travel mode also is not present in the light and vision now is there any idea to bring it out because in the user manual its said that travel mode stops the light of oncoming traffic i think now its clear can you help me now

I don't believe you'll be able to help yourself with that, go see a car specialist.

So, there seems to be an intermittent issue with the right xenon bulb, but now they're working and you still have an AFS error in the maxidot?

because in the user manual its said that travel mode stops the light of oncoming traffic

No it doesn't, it moves your headlamp beam to the opposite side (if your car is a RHD, if you enable the travel mode, the beams will be re-positioned as it were a LHD car; or vice-versa)

All the fuses are explained in the user manual which you have access to
