Anybody had any experience with these winter tyres.  The reviews vary from highly recommended to OK but.  Looking for 225/50/18 which is my current size. Unless it would be ok to change to a 45 ride heoght.

I have these getting delivered tomorrow and will have them on before the weekend, maybe see how they are on the snow before next week.

Not the same size as yours though, 215/60 R 16's on a FWD car.

 

EDIT.

I put on Avon WV7 Snow tyres on instead.

Snow, where? I guess that your user name is a clue why you need snow tyres in Scotland. Getting stuck at Glenshee, Glencoe,Aviemore or the Lecht is a real possibility.

Why anyone might need snow tyres when snow comes really on the vehicles they use.
