I no longer have my MK2 vRS so have this Tuning box for sale. It takes literally a few minutes to install and is simply a plug and play unit- remove the engine cover that simply pulls off, unplug the feed on the common rail underneath and plug the tuning box in. 

 

I thought It made a noticeable difference to my vRS, the car seemed far more responsive with it fitted and I used to get decent MPG too. The website claimed up to 10% hp improvement, so my insurers (Admiral) didn't want any increase in premiums either.

I'm looking for £90 via either bax transfer or Paypal friends and family which includes postage via RM special delivery to mainland UK

 

It comes complete with the original box, the blanking plug so you can remove it without taking the wiring harness off, instructions plus the original receipt for over £300. If you need any more info on power and torque output  I'm sure DTUK would provide it.

hp number should be a percentage

Is this specifically for a vRS or is it a generic box for all diesels?

I'd guess it'll be specific for the CR170 engine.

 

DTUK can reprogram them but I've no idea of cost or if it's limited to the original owner.
