Hello all! Long time lurker, first time poster.

 

I've got an issue with my mk1 Octavia Estate, which is the 4x4 1.8t Elegance model. The issue being, the brakes - or rather the lack of! 

 

I intend on having someone tow me hone with a solid bar, but I'm not sure where the tow hitch is on the front. I'm led to believe it should be a screw in one, and the eye would be located in the spare wheel toolkit however I don't think it's in there from memory - if that is the case, are they fairly easy to acquire?

Cool thanks for that. Is it a screw in one or is it welded in place?

It’s a welded in loop.
