Car Ordered

Featured Replies

Thought I'd say hello. Been looking for a new car to replace my Mini One D since about Sept last year when I received crap customer service from Mini/BMW when my car was "ill". Vowed I'd never have another BMW product. My local independent dealer suggested I looked at a Fabia vRS, must say I was not disappointed. As I live on an island it can be difficult to test drive vehicles as we have the usual Ford, Vauxhall, Renault and VW dealers. Thankfully a Fabia vRS owner gave me a drive, wow.

Now the critical bit, I'm an Approved Driving Instructor - what would learner drivers think of the Skoda badge and more importantly the vRS. I know it's snobbish talking about the image Skoda has or had, but this is my living, the Mini certainly attracted business. Found a couple of other instructors using the Fabia vRS, all said the same - buy it.

On 7th April I'm due to take delivery of my Corrado Red Fabia vRS with Cruise and Leather and heated seats. Cruise wasn't my choice, but it's the only red car with heated seats available between now and June! (Always had red Driving Instructor vehicles, sort of company colour)

Now I'm getting excited, planning a few days "holiday" when I take delivery just to have a decent run in the car, after that I'm sitting in the passenger seat - smiling no doubt.

Thanks to this site for all the valueable information.

buy one matey!

There are a few driving intructors on here with various Fabias even a pd 100 chipped to 160 bhp, and they all say the same thing the learners love them to bits.........easy to drive. almost impossible to stall and sat up a bit further as well
