I emailed the nice people at openobd-org about settings on the fabia and they sent me this prompt and helpful reply - just thought it would be good to post as a resource for fellow Briskodians.

I wished to change the clock to 12-hour display and get rid of the speed limit chime.

"You have to change the country coding of the instrument cluster.

In principle you have the following choices:

xx?xx: Country

0 - Germany (D)

1 - Rest of World (RdW)

2 - USA (US)

3 - Canada (CDN)

4 - Great Britan (GB)

5 - Japan (JP)

6 - Saudi Arabia (SA)

7 - Australia (AUS)

6 (Saudi Arabia) is the only setting with speed warning (not sure about

Japan). Depending on the country, you will also get their local setting

for clock etc.
