ABS Problem?

Featured Replies

I recently fitted new front pads and discs to my 03 octy without any issues. Following an unfortunate encounter with a kerb I had to have the front subframe changed, since I got it back from the garage I have experienced a low speed brake judder, especially when turning left at junctions. I can rule out warped discs as the problem is intermittent and there is no abs light lit on the dash, I suppose it could be a loose reluctor ring or damaged wiring, any help in making a firm diagnosis would be appreciated.

I think I have it sussed out, I have inspected it again and the nearside wheel bearing is worn, this would make sense as the problem mainly occurs when cornering this would also increase the gap between the sensor and reluctor ring, getting a new bearing fitted, hopefully this will resolve the issue. However I have just had the car mot done and a worn bearing should have been spotted.
