Does anyone know if it's possible to retrofit the auto dimming mirror (which also brings the auto wipers and auto headlights to the party) on a 2-FL vRS that doesn't have it please? Looking a new cars to replace my one and the closest/best-fit one doesn't have the pack fitted.

Sure although it's not super easy.

 

Ideally you need a new windscreen as the mount is different. You'll then need a RLS, rear view mirror and wiring back to the BCM. For autolights, you'll also need a new switch and possibly a wire adding.

 

Then it should just be coding.

What's an RLS please? I don't know that acronym.

 

This sounds like it might be a pain in the bum and expensive...

Thank you. I'm not the most mechanically adept person and I think the chance of me ending up damaging the windscreen is definitely there.

 

I've found another car that has all the options I want and I just put down a deposit. Hopefully, I'll pick it up next week.
