Mdi bluetooth adapter Detected as AUX

Featured Replies

Hi! All new here and i have a question about my 2010 Octavia II.

I just got a mdi bluetooth adapter from amazon.

It plugs in, connects to my iphone and streames music just fine.

The issue is that i dont get any song data on the swing and cant change song from the head unit.

If i press media, i can choose cd or PD. Press pd and it just says aux.

Any advice?

It's probably normal for that MDI BT adaptor.

I expect they've made it as cheap as possible and only use power and audio connections from MDI. You can asked the seller or check the advert to see if there is any mention of track display or skipping working?

Yes i suspect that is the case. The adapter was very cheap.

I just assumed all these adapters would be able to control the phone and that I missed a setting somewhere in the car.

Thank you
