Has anyone had a go at this? I've read a guide on the Octovia forum that details it really well and because I can solder ok, I'm going to give it a go.

They've linked to a part number for the SMD LEDs but have also said they aren't quite the right 'whiteness'.

Just wondered if anyone had done this on a Yeti and whether the cluster was pretty much the same.

 

The other question is, as long as the key isn't in the ignition, can I safely disconnect the wiring loom to the cluster without the immobiliser having a hissy fit?

Cluster is very similar and the immo won't care if the cluster is removed

 

No idea about the colour temp I'm afraid.
