Car Alarm/ DWA / Interior Monitoring

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm having trouble with interior monitoring is by default ON.

and I want to change it to OFF.

The problem is when the engine heater is warming and the air changes in the cabin

then the alarm goes on.

do any one know to fix this ?

You can disable interior monitoring by pressing the button on the door pillar before locking the car.

Beyond this I don't think there is a way to default to being disabled beyond disabling it completely and even then I'm not sure if that can be done?

Can you not press the remote lock button twice to turn off the interior protection while leaving the doors locked.

If your car is broken into, the alarm won't go off as you've disabled the function.  If it came to light, would that invalidate your insurance?

Anyone know how to temporarily disable the alarm with a mk3 Fabia. There used to be a button on the door pillar. Nice and easy. The setting on the car is deep down menus and takes time. Dog in car and it is a real pain to repeat multiple times on a stop start journey. Thanks SKODA for removing the perfectly good Button. Bah!

As above press the lock button twice.
