Featured Replies

In the good old days we used to say 'he's as dodgy as a secondhand car salesman' Is there anyone in the motor industry that we can trust?

Nissan plans to fire Carlos Ghosn over 'misconduct'

Carlos Ghosn

think he's gone and one of his r't hand men   allegedly under arrest in nippon

I can think of plenty of vastly less productive individuals in the banking and finance industry that are more than overdue.

Trump might want to avoid Japan also.

^^^ Jacob Rees-Mogg MP would maybe explain to that journalist or the editor how that is not a coup.  If they asked.

Apparently the French government have already decided to remove him as chairman of Renault.

The board has decided to keep him on as Renault Chairman and CEO.

Ironic when CEO of BET365 just paid herself salary of £265 million for taking advantage of people with online gambling addiction.:D

He will stay in jail until he confesses it seems.........they have a 99% success rate as a result -

makes you appreciate British justice.

Sounds like Nissan bought the houses and so Carlos could have just thought they were Nissan's houses and not his exclusively (though one was in Lebanon which is a bit of an odd place compared to the others).  Renault are continuing to support him and are kicking back that it is perhaps a bunch of Japanese Nissan executives that are partly to blame for the non disclosure ?

Either way, he didn’t destroy the lives of millions in the way the financial industry did resulting in the GFC without one of them being treated with so much a a day in jail.

To me it’s more like a crude Japanese power grab.

In Japan justice seems to work in reverse. Guilty until proven innocent.

A claimed 99% admission of guilt having been given solitary confinement and denied  legal representation says it all.

I was waiting for the headline "Nissan gives up the Ghosn" but it hasn't happened yet.

So he’s back in solitary until they get a confession of guilt.

The world doesn’t give a damn.

Trade ties are all that matter.

Biggest mistake of his life visiting Japan might as well be Iran or North Korea.
