Battery condition status

Featured Replies

Battery life seems poor or short in cars with Start-stop function, depending on our local forum. Especially Superb and Octavia users complain.

Is there a menu function or key combination to see the battery status? I try to push and hold the SET button, but only "clock set" appears.

Superb -->

No way in infotainment.

There is a way via VCDS hack (at least for most Skodas / VAGs. didn't find anyone confirmed on Karoq but I'm pretty sure it will work.

If you have Amundsen or Columbus satnav system, you can view battery voltage measurement via MySkoda app.

You will need to connect your phone via onboard WiFi connection to see the in app info. The app itself guides you through the process. Cheers.

You have to remember that vehicles with regenerative braking the battery is only maintained at 80% charge to allow for charging on over run
