I bought skoda octavia 2018  and I woud like to have chrome under windows. Does enyone has experiance with buying chrome from china?

Is this bad idea to put some chinese chrome on new car?

I’d be inclined not to bother.  I’ve seen many posts stating the ‘chrome’ ends up stained and cloudy.  I’ve also seen it happen on others cars in passing as well.  My neighbour has a nice Merc that has trim around the windows.  It’s stained. He doesnt used car washes either where harsh chemicals are likely to touch it. 

Why don't you just pay for someone to do this job for you because I think they can done the work better than us.

 

Btw, how much you paid for your Octavia? Is it RS?
