mrs daddy2coull bought me a vag com lead for my birthday and i'm itching to try it out but my car is in for ongoing repairs from the robbery.

my question in the meantime is......

what exactly can i do with vag com freeware?

can i change anything at all is it a read only job?

i've read through most of it but i really have my stoopid head on tonight. it really aint sinking in!!!

will i be able to change functions like the anti hijack etc?

or is it used fr purely reading data?

Cant change much, if anything without registration. cost me $99 or £57 to register and I have now got my central locking opening all doors with 1 click, anti-hijack on and the alarm to chirp on activation. Also getting a second key coded. Must have saved myself the registration cost twice over already
