Hi peeps! 

 

First time I've ever owned a skoda or any kind of performance car in fact. 

 

I have always had fast motorcycles but decided to ditch the crotch rocket for something a bit more comfortable and practical! 

 

This leads me onto the car.. 

 

A 2005 Mk1 Skoda Octavia VRS.

 

In red! Paintwork is in a good condition for the age, completely stock, 128,000 miles, service history and a good clean bill of health. 

 

I have owned her for about 2 weeks and love it to bits! 

 

Plans for the future? 

 

I am hoping to get a performance exhaust, air filter, recirc valve and a stage 1 remap. 

 

All in the foreseeable future. 

 

Main reason I joined the forum? 

 

A sense of community, from what I understand these cars have a bit of a following, even though they are not the fastest or best handling vehicles, they do everything quite well. 

 

Plus I'm sure I will have some questions along my journey! 

 

So that's it really, looking forward to posting and browsing the forums.
