Stolen button from the steering wheel

Recommended Posts

The reason for the warranty replacement of the buttons was

the spontaneous switching of the menu sections in the Maxidot display

Buttons have been waited for two weeks
after replacing the car i got with a surprise -
the [phone] key is gone away
and in place of it came [view] button, clicking which happens absolutely nothing

That's the same as my MY19 wheel. For cars without the active info display (I don't have it) it reverts the display to the previous viewed selection.

The phone needs to be selected by scrolling through on the maxidot and selecting it with the right hand roller button.

If you press view after your call, it will go back to what you were on before. Personally I keep the digital speed display on mine.

Hope that helps

Edited to say; it's mentioned in the MY19 pdf which is in the MY19 changes thread

Ah I see. Sorry to hear that. Was the garage aware that they made a mistake?

at 9:15 got a call from the dealer -

the letter received, we conduct an investigation, most likely in stock confused.

but it is not clear how the master who installed it did not notice,
probably the same person who did that jobs:

although I already asked the service not to let this master to my(so far bank) car

33. service visit within 32 months -
Dealer installed correct buttons on the steering wheel.
but rejected software update for headlights, which was known as recall 94K1
