Hello to everyone!

Just recently became a owner of Skoda Superb L&K TDI 150PS DSG in petrol blue color, 17 plate. So far I love the car and already looking for some minor tweaks and upgrades that I have found on this forum.

Previously had a VW Passat 2.0tdi bluemotion manual, remapped to 175hp with lot of other upgrades and tweaks to make it different from others!

Welcome to the forum shkapars, nice car and you should get at least 186bhp from a remap as I modified a 63 plate 150PS Octavia 2.0Tdi SE to stage 1.

I will leave remap at the end for now, as I read somewhere in the forum that it voids your warranty. I will play with obdelven first to enable all the missing features and then into some parts.

Prepping to do 2.0TSi clutch in future - plenty of time and opportunity as I mentioned recently I have a 1.8T L&K Octy also ! I'd seen a comment at some point someone recommending to change rear main seal whilst you are in there. Something to watch for? Also as below

Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse

Hello I have completely drained the cooling system to replace the coolant in my 1.4 MPI. To refill my Haynes manual says to remove the temperature sensor from the cylinder head to allow air to escape. I pulled out the clip and then lifted out the sensor which came out by pulling. I then filled the system until coolant was seen in the sensor hole. I then the replaced the sensor but noticed coolant leaking from it. On inspection noticed that the sensor was able to move up and down with the clip in

I have a rattle as stated above, we diagnosed it today as front brake pads rattling in the carriers. 2014 Fabia vrs, proving very difficult to source oem correct new carriers in red, I have ordered some from Autodoc and will paint them before we fit them It initially sounded like exhaust contacting chassis or loose subframe fasteners
